Majestic trees by the river, expressive skies over mountains and valleys, dappled light on a forest path: these are just a few of the inspiring, often ephemeral, scenes I love to paint whenever I am  home in the Pacific Northwest.

The world slows down as I focus on capturing both the strength and the gentle harmony so beautifully displayed in nature.  

Discovering and sharing these amazing landscapes fills me with hope for our future. There are so many lessons that we can learn from observing and preserving our natural world.
